Morning All!

Shapes, chops, spuds, and asparagus sound delish. Love the sound of cheesy spuds.
Sue, the cheeseheads would be proud. Our kraut my friends and I made is in the fermentation stage. We did 4 5 gallon buckets; but, there are 10 of us. It takes a good 3-4 weeks to ferment. Then, we will bag up. I can't wait. Nothing better than brats in beer with kraut.

Me, I ended up with more soup last night which was fine; then, grazed on cheese and crackers.

Ladies #1 and #2: White chicken stew (recipe on another site). It has parsnips, potatoes, celery root, mushrooms, and white wine; salad, wheat bread

Today, I hope to be making ravioli for my freezer stash. Mushroom/cheese and spinach/cheese. If I don't get to it today, tomorrow.

Dinner, sauerbraten.

Last night I made my #recipe4828 because I was actually home for a minute and it's quick. Tonight I'm loading out the annual Salon Centric (formerly Maly's) HUGE hairdresser convention, and will more than likely be eating bar food of some kind, unless the show feeds us pizza (from the so-so local place they always use every year).

Hi everyone! I've pretty much decided to pop in here on a regular basis and start moving my recipes to recipezazz and learn my way around this site.

Today I'm making #recipe10855 (just posted) with some prosciutto wrapped shrimp skewers on the side.

Tonight, I'm preparing country fried steak and gravy. For sides I'm doing fresh asparagus and some sort of carrot dish.....definite comfort food :D :D :D

Morning ...

Well, my AC is back on ... Fall is gone this week. 87 today, but cooler evenings/mornings. No SNOW, or bad storms, so I'll take it.

I guess my sauerbraten was not meant to be. Lady #2 called me last minute after she got a call from her sister and brother, who decided to take a trip over to visit. NOT expected. Well, she asked; but, didn't expect me to help. They are so great, I wanted to.

Well, the white chicken stew I already made for them wouldn't be enough for 6. So, they got my sauerbraten dinner w/the spaetzle and red cabbage; and I had her white stew.
I added some steamed potatoes and carrots; and a salad. I also picked up some rye rolls from a local deli.
They called last night to thank me; and say how good it was. I guess, sauerbraten will be another day for me. I'm glad to know it turned out good.

Didn't get my raviolis done; and don't have time today, so tomorrow. Luckily, it's nothing that has to get done right away.

Dinner, I'm not sure. I'm in an out today; so, honestly not sure. I have soup, have chicken for a hot baked sandwich, pasta w/sauce in the freezer I could add shrimp too. NO CLUE!
I got to go with the flow today; and see what happens.
