Dis, ribs are always good. I love them when they fall apart too. Felix, at least they didn't forget about you.
Dinner ...
Well, it's between Sloppy Joes and a Burger. I thought of making up 4 burgers (3) for the freezer. Maybe stuff the one tonight with cheese and mushrooms; served open face with BBQ, and maybe a slice of tomato and a grilled onion slice. LOWER carbs.
or ... I could do a sloppy joe, served of course on a bun. MORE carbs. Decisions Decisions ;)
I do know, I want sweet potato fries w/spicy ketchup.
I guess I will decide later.
Later today, I have to make my Crab and Roasted Corn Salsa and Honeydew Lime soup (both recipes to be posted today) for a light lunch w/friend at the beach tomorrow. He is visiting family at their beach house and is leaving tomorrow. I figured we could have a quick lunch/picnic on the beach. It's been over a year since I saw him. Should be perfect weather.

I just put #recipe7081 in the oven. Hopefully my mother will manage to take it out and make gravy when it's time for her to eat, and then when I get home I'll warm some up in the microwave.

Last night, I ate the entire "platter" of sushi. This was easily enough food for two people, but I spread the eating experience over about 5 hours ;) . Besides, the sushi was totally healthy, so I didn't feel any guilt about eating so much. It's almost like the meal was a "need" as it has been so long since I have had sushi. Glad I found this place for sushi, and I'm sure I'll become a regular.

Deepster, Me too ... I would eat an entire platter. I know Felix loves her sushi too.
Well, almost 4. Haven't got to the store; haven't taken the beef out of the freezer either. SO far behind today. Off to the store shortly; and may end up doing the sloppy joes after all.
Completely out of sorts today. Just haven't got much done. Sidetracked

Decided on burgers; naked (no bread); and spud salad vs fries. I'm really trying to cut carbs a bit ... so, I think the naked burger stuffed with cheese will be good tonight. I plan soup tomorrow with a sandwich, so less carbs is all the better when I can.

It's Football Sunday - Go Bucs!
Today, a good friend is down visiting family; I will either meet him at his parents on the beach, or he will come here. He is leaving today, so a quick lunch to catch up. He's a big foodie, so I made him:
http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/crab-g ... alsa-10623, chips; and, http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/chille ... soup-10624
Then, cooking for Lady #4: 3 meals to be delivered Mon am
- Sauerkraut meatloaf, scalloped potatoes, roasted beets
- Spinach pasta with artichokes, olives, sun dried tomatoes, and chicken; citrus salad (mixed oranges)
- Beef Stew, rye bread; and, a green salad
Meatloaf is in the oven, with potatoes; stew in the crock pot, and bread in the ABM. Two meals down, 1 to go.
Me: I have a poached chicken breast in the freezer I took out; and, leftover buttered noodles from the other night.
So, http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/moms-c ... cuits-3896; but, chicken vs turkey/white wine vs sherry/served over the noodles vs biscuits/and, probably add some peas. Tomato slices on the side or a small salad, depends what I feel like.
