What WAS on Your Plate & WHAT'S for Dinner 11/13-11/14

HAPPY SUNDAY!
A Beautiful Sunny and Cool Start to the Day ... But, a High of 78 - Gorgeous Weather!
Any Fun Sunday Plans Going On?

A poker buddy is stopping over for the Bucs game today and bringing sausages.
So, sausages w/peppers, onions, mushrooms, and cheese sammies. Chips w/pickle dip; I'll probably put out some salsa and chips too. My friend gets me these great salsas and sauces from www.peppers.com for b-day, xmas, etc.; and, they are awesome. I have a jar of chipotle roasted corn salsa to use; so, that will be perfect.
After that for a late lunch; I don't think I will need dinner.

KC, sausage and peppers sound really good.
Twinsmom, love grilled pork loin.
I also am grilling pork, but chops that have been marinated all afternoon in balsamic vinegar, honey, Italian seasoning, garlic, pepper and oil. May have some parmesan roasted zucchini with them.

Shanni, maybe is was Chicken Sale Sunday, lol. I got a great deal too when out shopping.
Lovin, sounds like a great marinade. I love balsamic w/honey; and zucchini is my favorite.

KC, about the hot roast beef sandwich w/mashed/gravy. You don't put the potatoes on the bread. You make the hot sandwich with regular bread, cut the sandwich in half and separate the sandwich halves on the plate and put the mashed potatoes in between the two sandwich halves. Then pour gravy over the whole thing and eat it with a fork and knife.

OK, I get it; but, I still don't understand it. I know. I AM SO in the MINORITY here! I see it on menus all the time.

I like a meatloaf sammy without gravy too; and, like mine cold. I know, IN THE MINORITY again.
LOL!!!!! =)) =)) =))
