What WAS on Your Plate & and WHAT'S for Dinner Tonight 6/18

HAPPY SATURDAY EVERYONE!!!!

My friends who passed last week; both services were today. One, just a simple toast in their yard. The other, was family only; but, I offered to do the food for a get together after. So, I did lots of cooking for that. But, all cold food.

- Citrus glazed boneless roast turkey breast sliced, glazed baked ham sliced - (served w/chutney, raisin sauce, various condiments), rolls; - classic deviled eggs; http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/corn-t ... salad-2220 I add cucumber; - a version of http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/french ... rbes-23471, I add arugula to mine; http://www.recipezazz.com/recipe/aspara ... essing-391; a small pan of mac and cheese, and veggie tray for the kids; fresh fruit salad. And, her husband loved ice cream sundaes; so, everyone agreed that had to be dessert - his brother is taking care of that.

My dinner, they insisted I take some of the food I made; I had some mac and cheese which I added broccoli too; and some of the ham. I was good.

So, what are you cooking this FATHERS DAY WEEKEND?

Yesterday I made homemade pizza.
Today it was just parmesan crusted tilapia, garden salad and corn.
Tomorrow for Father's Day, I picked up a couple rib eye steaks to grill with baked potatoes and a spinach salad, and I bought a decadent chocolate cake!
