When you’re craving comfort food and you’re sure that a simple burger just won’t cut it, you know that the next best thing is a good ol’ Sloppy Joe. Or maybe when you’re not even craving for it, it’s easily one of the greatest mood boosters that would instantly put a smile on your face as you try to devour the whole thing without making a mess and, well, failing at it. But honestly though, who really cares when everyone else is trying hard not to make a mess, too? This is definitely an exciting meal that you’ll surely enjoy eating with other people.

Sloppy Joes are great for many different occasions: birthdays, backyard barbeques, maybe even on a first date with someone if you’re brave enough, or even when you’re just feeling great in the middle of the night and you’d like to reward yourself with one. Another great thing about this recipe is you can either just dump all the ingredients in your slow cooker and let it cook on low for 4 hours, or you can follow this simple recipe and you’ll have a very flavorful dish in just 35 minutes. You don’t even have to use a lot of pots and pans in order to create this as one pan is only what is needed. Talk about saving time and having less things to wash, am I right? That was probably one of the things that I really liked when I first tried making this meal on my own.

If you’re big on cheese, no one’s stopping you from adding as much Provolone cheese as you want. Are you the kind who likes spicy food? Feel free to add some jalapenos in there! A few drops of hot sauce wouldn’t be so bad as well. Just make sure to check with your family members first if they’re okay with it, otherwise they’ll be in for quite a fiery surprise!

Philly Cheese Steak Sloppy Joes are great on its own, no doubt about that. If you’re having a hard time thinking about what to serve your family for the next meal or maybe you were invited to a potluck party and you’re racking your brain on what to bring, this dish is an easy choice really. You can cook up some fries too, or maybe deep fry onions or mozzarella cheese as they are sure ways to have your stomach sing hallelujah. I would know, I’m pretty sure mine did after having this for dinner.

If you’re having a party with a lot of people coming over, you can use this same recipe in making cheesy Sloppy Joe sliders. Instead of using regular buns, you can try using slider rolls or dinner rolls. This is especially great when you’re serving it to kids at your child’s birthday party. You can also use the same tip when you’re still craving for a good Joe but at the same time feeling overwhelmed with its regular size and just feel like having smaller portions instead.

Indeed, no matter how you wish to serve it, these Joes are definitely the way to go.
