I hope you join us this month to share your dinner menus. Many of us are getting into that COLD weather season. I know I will be seeing lots of soups, stews, and comfort foods.

So, what are your dinner plans?

Morning Everyone!

Well, after a deal shopping spree yesterday ... I had to change my menu around.

Today ...

Lady #1 and #2, are getting back late. So, leaving them a pot of tomato bisque; and pimento cheese sandwiches in their fridge.

Me, back to my salmon. I ended up with rotisserie chicken, and deli salad last night. Honestly, it was delicious ... and $5 for 2 chicken ... I was very happy. And the deli salad was free too.

So - salmon (new recipe w/herb cream sauce); sauteed broccoli, carrots, and celery; tomato arugula salad w/olive artichoke relish

I have some polo left as well as some kraut and ribs. So haven't decided if I want to freeze that (trying to empty the freezer) and go with another or just eat leftovers.
I have some apples so maybe apple dumplings today. I was also hoping to make apple cookies that I haven't got around to yet. Still thinking about how I want to do that recipe, what spices, etc.

DH is out of town (France) so the kids and I will fly by the seat of our pants this week! ;)

I am defrosting some Sausage & Lentil Soup. I'll make something to go along with it, if necessary. The kid may not go for soup alone. Maybe I'll toss some multigrain rolls in the oven.

Just made hot roast beef sandwiches with mashed potatoes and gravy. And fresh apple pie with whipped cream for dessert :X :X

You're killing me ... apple dumplings, soup which I love; and, hot roast beef sandwiches. And more apples, pie with whipped cream.

I don't eat many desserts; however, fresh apple pie w/ice cream ... I would definitely splurge.

We ended up having eggplant parmesan with some pasta. Didn't get my apple done, hopefully tomorrow. Joint pain attacks, once again.

Morning Everyone!

Well, we are finally drying out, thank god! I'm looking forward to a little sunshine. Sue, hope you feel better; eggplant parm sounds good. I didn't plant any this Fall, I wish I did. I strained my knee yesterday ... a little jacuzzi time is in order.

Dinner...

Lots of errands and things to do today; so, an easy dinner. From my bargain rotisserie chickens I got the other day. I made chicken salad yesterday - perfect for lunch w/crackers, same today. I used some to make burritos for the freezer. I mixed with rice, black beans, cheese, salsa.

Tonight, is the last; just served cold with a jazzed up BBQ dip (BBQ sauce, mustard, orange marmalade, and horseradish). On the side, a celery cabbage slaw; and, pan fried potatoes with onions.

Good morning.

For me dinner is going to be homemade pasta .I was thinking about bread pudding for dessert with a raisin and wine sauce, but I'm not 100 % sure about that yet.
I joined MealSharing and I'm hosting my first meal tonight.
I hope it will be fun. :? :D
