Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 2/3 cup butter (unsalted butter, very cold and cut into 1/2" pieces)
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup cold water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put Flour,sugar, salt and butter into the food processor bowl.

  • Step 2: Process until the mix is the consistency of crumbs. Be careful not to over process.

  • Step 3: Add water a little at a time until the dough can be held together and can easily form a ball.

  • Step 4: Remove and make 2 balls of dough. Place each in plastic wrap and flatten.

  • Step 5: Chill well (must be very cold and firm) in the refrigerator (a few hours) or chill in the freezer ( as little as 10 minutes) .
