Step 1: Using a stand mixer, beat the buttermilk, molasses and sugar together.
Step 2: Add in the rest of the dry ingredients, omitting the raisins and nuts. Mix well.
Step 3: Fold in walnuts and raisins.
Step 4: Pour into two 9x5 inch loaf pans.
Step 5: Cover tightly with a piece of tinfoil that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
Step 6: Bake for 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
Step 7: Remove from oven and cool for 15 minutes before removing from loaf pan.
