  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 1/2 cups water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Rinse rice with cool water until water runs clear. Drain rice.

  • Step 2: Combine rice, coconut cream, sugar, salt, and water in a medium saucepan.

  • Step 3: Bring just to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar, then cover and reduce heat to low.

  • Step 4: Cook until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed, 25-30 minutes.

  • Step 5: Fluff rice with a fork; cover and let sit for 5 minutes.
