The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 package (21 gram) dry ranch salad dressing mix (use only half a package)
  • 1 green onion (finely chopped)
  • 1 teaspoon oil (olive oil)
  • 2 slices reduced-fat Swiss cheese (halved diagonally)
  • 1 medium tomato (diced)
  • 4 whole grain bread slices (or hamburger buns)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine turkey, salad dressing mix and green onion in a medium bowl; mix well and shape into 4 patties.

  • Step 2: Coat a large nonstick frypan with veggie cooking spray, heat over medium heat; add oil, tilt frypan to coat bottom, cook patties 14 minutes or until cooked through, turning once.

  • Step 3: Remove from heat, top each patty with cheese, cover and let stand 2 or 3 minutes or until cheese melts. top each patty with tomatoes, serve as is, or on buns if desired.
