The ingredients are:
  • 2 pounds salmon filets, fresh
  • Lemon pepper, to taste
  • Garlic powder, to taste
  • Salt, to taste
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 cloves garlic, thinly sliced

How to Make

  • Step 1: Season salmon fillets with the lemon pepper, garlic powder, and salt.

  • Step 2: In a bowl, combine the soy sauce, brown sugar, water and vegetable oil and sliced garlic, stir to dissolve the sugar.

  • Step 3: Place the fish in a large resealable plastic bag and add the soy sauce mixture. Seal and turn to make sure all the fish is coated well. Place in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours or more.

  • Step 4: Preheat your grill to medium heat.

  • Step 5: Lightly spray the grill grate. Place the salmon on the preheated grill and cook the salmon for about 6 minutes per side or until the fish flakes easily with a fork, be careful not to over cook the salmon!
