Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon dry spice (VE Burger Spice with spices, onion, garlic, red bell pepper, sea salt, herbs, black pepper)
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup dry stuffing mix (Stove Top Stuffing mix)
  • 2 slices (2 ounces) bacon
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese, sliced (cut into 4 thick squares, from old cheddar block cheese)
  • 1/4 cup barbecue sauce sauce (I used Raspberry Habanero Sauce by The Pampered Chef)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Put ground beef in bowl.

  • Step 2: Add one egg into the bowl. Add spices. Add stuffing (uncooked).

  • Step 3: Cut up the uncooked 2 strips of bacon into tiny pieces - the juice (fat) from the bacon gives a great flavor while burger and bacon are cooking.

  • Step 4: Add bacon pieces in the mixture.

  • Step 5: Knead all the ingredients to point it is combined well.

  • Step 6: Take a handful of the burger mixture and shape it into a round burger.

  • Step 7: Take one of the cheese squares and pat into the burger.

  • Step 8: Add more of the burger mixture to the exposed cheese, covering it well. Be sure that the cheese is well protected as you do not want the cheese melting and escaping the burger!

  • Step 9: Heat BBQ to around 350 degrees - nice and hot.

  • Step 10: Place the 4 burgers onto the grill - about 5 minutes per side.

  • Step 11: Flip buglers and coat with the sauce.

  • Step 12: Do same on other side.

  • Step 13: Garnish your burger with your favorite toppings.
