Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 tablespoon oil (olive oil)
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 2/3 cup ketchup
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons hot sauce (Sriracha)
  • 2 teaspoons paprika (smoked)
  • 1 cup beer (Stout beer-- Bear Republic, Big Bear Black Stout is good)
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a pot over medium heat, add oil and allow to get hot but not smoking.

  • Step 2: Add garlic, and stir until you can smell it, about 30 seconds.

  • Step 3: Add the remaining ingredients, and stir until combined.

  • Step 4: Allow to cook until thickened, stirring occasionally, about 15 minutes.

  • Step 5: Store in an air tight container in the fridge.
