Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 3 cups rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (may use any kind or use seeds)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 6 tablespoons orange juice
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/3 cup dried fruit
  • 1 tablespoon flax (meal)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

  • Step 2: Mix oats, cinnamon, sugar, and nuts in a large ziploc bag.

  • Step 3: Mix orange juice, syrup, and vanilla in a measuring cup, then pour over oat mixture. Seal bag and use your hands to mix well.

  • Step 4: Spread on a large cookie sheet lined with a rubber mat and bake for 20 minutes. Stir, then bake for 20 more minutes.

  • Step 5: Set pan of granola out to cool and mix in fruit and flax meal.

  • Step 6: Allow to cool completely and then store in a large ziploc bag in the refrigerator.
