Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound chicken breasts (skinless, boneless chicken breast halves)
  • 1/2 cup onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 cup green bell pepper (chopped)
  • 1 can (450 grams) chopped tomatoes (drained)
  • 1 can (225 grams) tomato sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Splenda, granulated
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
  • 1/3 cup olives (ripe olives, sliced)
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 3 cups pasta, cooked (hot cooked pasta, rinsed and drained)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Slice chicken breasts into 32 pieces.

  • Step 2: Spray a large frypan with olive oil flavoured cooking spray; saute chicken, onion and green pepper for 6 to 8 minutes; stir in drained tomatoes and tomaot sauce.

  • Step 3: Add splenda, Italian seasoning,olives and freshly ground pepper; mix well to combine. Lower heat and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 4: For each serving place 1/2 cup pasta on a plate and spoon 2/3 cup sauced chicken over top.
