Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 (6 ounce) top sirloin beef steaks
  • 2 teaspoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, smashed
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 2 medium ripe tomatoes, cut into wedges
  • Seasoning salt (your favourite)
  • Pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Season both sides of each steak with seasoning salt and pepper.

  • Step 2: Heat oil in frypan over medium/high heat.

  • Step 3: Brown each side of the steaks, with the garlic, for 5 minutes, depending on the thickness of the steak and your preference of rareness.

  • Step 4: Add tomato wedges, cook for one minute; pour wine over steak, sizzle a few seconds more. Plate the steak and pour the reduced wine, garlic and tomtoes over the steak.
