Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Crust:
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (99 gram) package vanilla pudding powder (cook and serve kind, not instant)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3 tablespoons butter, softened
  • Top:
  • 1 (14 ounce) can peach slices, drained; reserve 3 tablespoons juice
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons juice reserved from peaches
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease a 10" pie plate. I use a deep pyrex one and this recipe fills it.

  • Step 2: Combine crust ingredients and pour into pie plate.

  • Step 3: Arrange drained peaches over crust. Blend cream cheese, 1/2 cup sugar and peach juice. Spoon over peaches in dollops. Do not spread – leave some peaches showing.

  • Step 4: Mix 1 tablespoon sugar with cinnamon. Sprinkle over cream cheese. Bake 30 minutes. Serve warm or cold. I prefer it warm with vanilla ice cream.
