The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound soba noodles
  • 2 to 3 tablespoon oil (grapeseed oil)
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 6 green onions (white and green parts, finely chopped)
  • 2 tablespoons tamari (soy sauce)
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed chili flakes (or to your heat level)
  • 1 to 1 1/2 tablespoons sesame seeds
  • Salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook the soba noodles according to package directions. Drain and rinse with cold water.

  • Step 2: In a large saute pan, heat both grapeseed and sesame oil over medium heat. Add the garlic and green onions; saute for 2 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add the tamari, red pepper flakes, sesame seeds, and cooked soba noodles; cook tossing with large tongs or two forks for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, until well mixed.

  • Step 4: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve warm.
