  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 (1 1/4 ounce) package taco seasoning mix ( you could also use homemade taco seasoning if you like)
  • 2/3 cup water
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded Mexican Blend cheese (divided)
  • 1 (4 ounce) can green chilis, drained
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 1 (8 1/2 ounce) package corn muffin mix
  • Cooking spray

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

  • Step 2: Mix corn muffin mix as directed on package.

  • Step 3: Spread batter into a sprayed 12-inch pizza pan and bake at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

  • Step 4: Brown meat and drain then add taco seasoning package, water, and chilies.

  • Step 5: Simmer until water is absorbed.

  • Step 6: Spread one cup of cheese over crust then top with meat mixture.

  • Step 7: Sprinkle with crushed red peppers and oregano.

  • Step 8: Top with remaining cheese and bake until cheese is melted.
