  • 2 small cloves garlic, minced

  • 1 stalk fresh celery (finely diced)

  • 1 to 2 teaspoons seasoning mix (recipe ingredients above)

We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Mix all the spices for the seasoning mix (amounts listed in the recipe description), place into a glass jar with a lid.

  • Step 2: Place the 2 tablespoons of juice from salmon into small bowl.

  • Step 3: Place salmon into a separate bowl. Remove skin or leave it, it's up to you.

  • Step 4: Remove all bones from salmon (salmon bones are small, so grind salmon between finger tips to carefully remove all bones).

  • Step 5: Combine salmon, the juice from salmon, eggs, minced or garlic powder, celery, celery seed, green onion, bell pepper 1 teaspoon soul seasoning, and corn meal into a bowl, taste the mixture and add in more seasoning if you like (you can now refrigerate the salmon mixture for up to 2 days if you want).

  • Step 6: Pat ingredients into small semi-flat patties.

  • Step 7: Heat cooking oil in frying pan, and place patties into pan browning each side for 4 minutes.

  • Step 8: Serve.
