Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/3 cup almonds (raw)
  • 1/3 cup dry soy beans
  • 3 tablespoons oats (raw rolled oats)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Soak almonds, beans, and oats in purified water with enough water to cover by 2 inches overnight.

  • Step 2: Fill soya joy machine to fill line with purified water.

  • Step 3: Pour soak water off of nuts, beans, and oats and add to machine.

  • Step 4: Press "soaked beans" setting on machine.

  • Step 5: When done (about 30 minutes later), strain milk through a fine mesh strainer once or twice, depending on how pure you want your milk.

  • Step 6: For completely smooth milk, strain a third time through a nut milk bag.

  • Step 7: Pour finished milk into a container and let cool.

  • Step 8: Refrigerate, covered, for up to 4 days.

  • Step 9: Makes about 5 cups milk.
