Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.
Step 2: Cream together butter and sugar.
Step 3: Beat in eggs and vanilla.
Step 4: Stir in flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt, then stir in oats and raisins.
Step 5: Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
Step 6: Bake 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
Step 7: Cool one minute, then remove cookies from pan and finish cooling on wire racks.
