The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1/4 cup golden raisins
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 2 tablespoon coconut oil (or butter)
  • 2 cups water

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine ingredients in a saucepan or rice cooker.

  • Step 2: If using saucepan, Bring to a boil, cover, reduce heat and simmer for about 20-25 minutes or until water is absorbed. Place towel across the top and cover with lid when it is done and let sit for about 10-15 minutes off the heat to absorb any extra liquid or steam and make it fluffier.

  • Step 3: If using rice cooker, operate per your appliance instructions. You can still use the towel trick at the end.
