  • 1 (1/4 ounce) envelope instant yeast

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large pot, bring 10 pints of water to a boil.

  • Step 2: Add the ginger and sugar then let cool to lukewarm.

  • Step 3: Add the raisins and sprinkle in the yeast.

  • Step 4: Cover and leave in the refrigerator for 2 days.

  • Step 5: Strain the liquid and pour into the sterilized bottles.

  • Step 6: Screw on the bottle tops and refrigerate for another 2 days before drinking.
