Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound green beans, trimmed, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 1 pound yellow beans, trimmed, cut into 2 inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 large cloves garlic, minced
  • 8 ounces white or brown mushrooms, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook your beans in a large pot of boiling water for apprx 4 minutes (longer if you like well cooked veggies), drain

  • Step 2: Meanwhile heat oil in a large skillet, medium heat, add garlic for apprx 1 minute or until you have that heavenly scent.

  • Step 3: Add mushrooms, stirring, cook until the juices have been released and evaporated, apprx 5 minutes.

  • Step 4: Season with salt and pepper

  • Step 5: Add cooked beans to the skillet, mix, continue cooking until all are heated through, just a couple of minutes
