  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 can (10 3/4 ounce) reduced-fat cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup low-fat sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 8 ounces reduced-fat extra-sharp cheddar cheese (grated)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350F.

  • Step 2: Place broccoli, shallots and water in a glass casserole dish; microwave 3-5 minutes, until heated and shallots are soft.

  • Step 3: Drain broccoli mixture in a colander.

  • Step 4: Meanwhile, in the same casserole dish, combine soup, sour cream, lemon juice, garlic and mustard until well-blended.

  • Step 5: Return broccoli mixture to casserole and mix well.

  • Step 6: Stir in cheese; mix well.

  • Step 7: Bake at 350F for 15 minutes, or until completely heated through and cheese is melted.

  • Step 8: Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
