Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 can (15 ounce) garbanzo beans (drained and rinsed)
  • 1 can (4 ounce) black olives (sliced)
  • 60 to 66 grams olives (1/4 cup green olives, with or without pimentos, cut in half or sliced)
  • 2 tablespoons salad dressing (Italian dressing, or vinaigrette, homemade or store bought)
  • 1 lemon, cut in wedges
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste
  • OPTIONS
  • Cucumbers
  • Cherry or grape tomatoes, cut in half
  • Feta cheese, cut in small cubes

How to Make

  • Step 1: Salad ... Add the chick peas, black and green olives, and dressing to a bowl; and, toss until combined. Season with salt and pepper. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate 1 hour up to 24 hours - the longer the better.

  • Step 2: Serve ... Squeeze a lemon wedge over the top and serve with extra on the side. ENJOY!

  • Step 3: Also mentioned: You can add diced cucumber, tomatoes; or, cubed Feta if you want. It is so quick and easy to prepare; but, absolutely delicious!
