Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 cup fat-free milk (or can use almond milk - or for a thicker smoothie use half fat-free plain or flavoured Greek yogurt and milk)
  • 1/3 cup water (I use coconut water, or just use 1 1/3 cups milk or water or coconut water)
  • 1 cup raspberries (frozen)
  • 1/2 to 1 banana (it's better if the banana is sliced then frozen to use for this)
  • 1 1/2 cups spinach leaves (baby spinach, 1 1/2 cups fairly tightly packed)
  • 1/2 cup kale, coarsely chopped (1/2 cup lightly packed)
  • 1 tablespoon almond butter (can use more)
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • Protein powder (optional - for about 30 grams protein or more depending on how much you want to use)
