Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 16 asparagus spears, trimmed,bottom half of stems peeled
  • 8 slices prosciutto, large, cut in half crosswise
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt & freshly ground black pepper
  • Garlic powder

How to Make

  • Step 1: Briefly cook asparagus in boiling salted water, until semi-cooked, 3-5 minutes. Plunge asparagus into cold water to stop the cooking process and allow them to be cool enough to handle.

  • Step 2: Place a slice of prosciutto on work surface; season with salt, pepper and a little garlic powder.

  • Step 3: Brush the spears with oil, then lay on prosciutto and roll up.

  • Step 4: Set the grill on medium heat, and cook the asparagus for 2 to 3 minutes per side, or until the prosciutto starts to crisp.
