Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 large eggs (hard boiled eggs, cooled and peeled)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk (I use either 1% or 2%)
  • 1 teaspoon chicken bouillon seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • Paprika

How to Make

  • Step 1: Remove yolks from eggs and place in small dish. Mash with a fork. Chop whites, set both aside.

  • Step 2: Melt butter, add flour and stir to make a smooth paste. Cook until bubbly.

  • Step 3: Gradually add milk, using a whisk if necessary so that no lumps remain. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Add chicken seasoning and mashed egg yolks. Stir until thoroughly combined.

  • Step 4: Add chopped egg white and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 5: Serve creamed eggs over toast and sprinkle with paprika if desired.
