The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound lean ground turkey
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 3 to 4 cloves garlic (finely minced)
  • 1 (1 ounce) package taco seasoning mix
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans chili beans
  • 1 (15 ounce) can kidney beans, drained (or black beans, drained)
  • 1 (15 ounce) can corn, undrained
  • 1 (15 ounce) can tomato sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups fat-free chicken broth (or water)
  • 1 (4 1/2 ounce) can chopped green chilies
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope ranch dressing mix
  • Salt (to taste)
  • Pepper(to taste)

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a large skillet cook the ground turkey with onion until the meat is browned.

  • Step 2: Add in garlic and taco mix and cook 1-2 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add in all the remaining ingredients, simmer uncovered for around 1 hour (for a thick consistancy cook uncovered longer).

  • Step 4: Serve with low fat sour cream and cheddar cheese.
