Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 12 ounces croutons (dry bread cubes)
  • 2 cups celery, diced
  • 2 cups onions, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Italian parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh sage, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 2 1/2 cups turkey broth (or 2 1/2 cups chicken broth)
We recommend you get your ingredients ready before you start cooking. Once you're ready, here are the steps to making this delicious recipe

How to Make

  • Step 1: Combine ingredients by tossing lightly and place in an oblong baking pan, adding only as much liquid to make it damp or as wet as you like it (I like mine wet).

  • Step 2: Cover with foil and bake 45 minutes.

  • Step 3: Uncover and bake 15 minutes more.

  • Step 4: Or lightly stuff into a turkey or chicken cavity- do not overpack, as extra can be baked outside the bird.

  • Step 5: Or pack into the slit side of a thick pork chop, securing that opening with a toothpick, layering the rest of the stuffing on the bottom of a greased baking dish and laying the chops on top (you bake this until the chops are done at about 375F).
