  • 4 to 5 pounds pork ribs (2 racks)
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup coffee
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon mustard powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper

How to Make

  • Step 1: Place the ribs on a rimmed baking sheet, meaty side up.

  • Step 2: Rub the meaty part of the ribs with the garlic powder and sprinkle generously with salt and pepper.

  • Step 3: Place on the top rack in the oven and broil for 8 to 10 minutes, or until you have a light brown crust on ribs.

  • Step 4: Slice the ribs along the side of the bones and place them in a baking pan.

  • Step 5: Top the ribs with the onions.

  • Step 6: Whisk together the remaining ingredients and pour over the ribs.

  • Step 7: Cover the pan with foil and bake in a 250 degree Fahrenheit oven for 8 hours.

  • Step 8: Serve
