Step 1: Preheat oven to temperature indicated on cake mix box. Mix cake mix according to directions on box. Pour enough cake mix in a 14 x 18 inch sided greased and floured cookie sheet till it's about 1/2 full. Use the rest of the batter to make cupcakes for the kids. Bake at temperature listed on the box for 10 to 15 minutes. Cool completely.
Step 2: Whisk flour and milk together in a small saucepan and cook on medium-low, stirring constantly, until thickened. Cool completely.
Step 3: Blend 1 cup sugar, 1 stick butter or margarine and shortening with a mixer and add milk/flour mixture. Beat 3 to 4 minutes until fluffy. Spread on cake and refrigerate.
Step 4: Mix all ingredients for chocolate topping together in a large saucepan, except confectioners sugar. Cook for one minute only. Using mixer, add confectioners sugar and mix until creamy (just a few seconds). Spread topping over white topping very delicately. Refrigerate till topping is hardened. Yum!
