Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • Leftover macaroni cheese, chilled overnight.
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper (I use Monterrey steak seasoning instead)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper (adjust to taste)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 2 tablespoon oil - non stick cooking spray

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat overn to 350 degrees.

  • Step 2: Cut the macaroni and cheese into squares./cubes

  • Step 3: Mix water into beaten egg.

  • Step 4: Roll macaroni cubes/squares into flour.

  • Step 5: Dip floured cheese cubes in egg/water mixture.

  • Step 6: Now roll the cube in the Panko crumbs and place on a dish and continue with the rest of the squares.

  • Step 7: Heat oil in fry pan and brown on both sides, about two minutes per side.

  • Step 8: Place on foil lined sheet pan (sprayed with cooking oil) and bake in 350 degree oven. Bake for approximately 10 - 12 minutes.
