Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • SLAW SALAD
  • 1 bunch of green onions, chopped
  • 1 16 ounce bag cabbage slaw mix
  • 1 cup sunflower seed kernels, salted
  • 1 cup slivered almonds, toasted in a dry skillet
  • 1 cup green or red peppers, chopped
  • 2 packages oriental ramen noodles,
  • DRESSING
  • 1 1/4 cups canola oil
  • 1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 2 reserved flavor packets from the ramen noodles

How to Make

  • Step 1: Break up the ramen noodles in the packages so they are in small chunk pieces. Reserve the flavor packets for the dressing. Put ramen noodles and all the slaw salad ingredients in a large bowl.

  • Step 2: Mix dressing ingredients in a medium bowl with a wire whisk. Pour over slaw salad ingredients and mix well. Cover with plastic wrap and let marinate in the refrigerator for at least 4-6 hours, stirring every couple hours, so the ramen noodles soften up somewhat. Enjoy!
