Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 2 cups dry macaroni pasta
  • 4 eggs, beaten
  • 4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup margarine, very soft (1 stick)
  • 8 ounces reduced-fat cream cheese, very soft
  • 16 ounces grated Colby cheese
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper, or to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350 F.

  • Step 2: Cook the macaroni until almost done but not completely (about halfway). Drain and spread in a buttered 9-by-13-inch casserole dish.

  • Step 3: Combine the remaining ingredients and spread over the macaroni.

  • Step 4: Bake, covered in a water bath for 45-50 minutes.
