Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound carrots (fresh, cut in large chunks)
  • 3/4 teaspoon salt (or to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar (I use white)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg (optional, I do not use the nutmeg)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Prepare and chunk carrots into pot, add water to cover

  • Step 2: Over medium heat bring carrots to a boil, reduce heat and simmer for 15 minute or until done, taking care not to over cook

  • Step 3: Drain, add butter, sugar, salt, and nutmeg (optional) Return to burner to heat, stirring constantly until carrots are glazed.
