Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 banana
  • 1/3 cup grape nuts
  • 1/2 cup yogurt or 1/2 cup cottage cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon honey
  • 4 pineapple chunks
  • 2 maraschino cherries, sliced
  • 2 strawberries, sliced
  • Chocolate syrup (optional)
  • Whipped cream (optional)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Peel and split the banana lengthwise. Place in banana split dish or cereal bowl.

  • Step 2: Layer yogurt or cottage cheese over banana.

  • Step 3: Sprinkle grape nuts over the top. Reserve a small amount for garnishing

  • Step 4: Drizzle honey over the top.

  • Step 5: Top with reserved cereal, pineapple chunks, strawberries and marachino cherries. Drizzle chocolate syrup and whipped cream on top if using.

  • Step 6: Enjoy! Its not over the top in calories either, about 300!
