Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 large head (1/2 pound) broccoli
  • 1 head (1 to 1 1/2 pound) cauliflower
  • 1/2 large (6 ounces) yellow onion (chopped)
  • 3 ounces bacon (pieces,bagged or fresh)
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup Splenda granular (or sugar)
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to Make

  • Step 1: Dice up broccoli and cauliflower to bite size pieces. Small dice the onion. Place all in a large bowl. Set aside. If you are using fresh bacon, fry it crisp and let it cool before you dice it up.

  • Step 2: In a separate bowl, mix up mayo, sugar or splenda, lemon juice, and vinegar.

  • Step 3: Add mayo mixture and bacon to veggie bowl. Stir to coat. Add salt and pepper to taste.

  • Step 4: Chill for an hour and serve!
