Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 cups frozen broccoli, chopped small
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 4 slices american cheese
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried onions
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded

How to Make

  • Step 1: Cook broccoli according to package directions. Steaming is great! Drain.

  • Step 2: Chop broccoli as small as you can get it.

  • Step 3: Warm 1/2 cup of chicken broth in bottom of a dutch oven. When it simmers, stir in flour and mix well.

  • Step 4: Add remaining ingredients to pot including the broccoli. Heat until all cheese has melted.

  • Step 5: Simmer for around 5 minutes or until soup thickens up.

  • Step 6: Serve!
