Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1/2 pound sausage (bulk Italian sausage)
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 1/2 cup chopped yellow onion
  • 3 ounces green pepper (1/2 medium pepper, chopped)
  • 1 jar (24 ounce) jar pasta sauce
  • 1 tub (10 ounce) Philadelphia cooking cream (Italian Cheese and Herb flavor, divided)
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 3 cups cooked penne pasta

How to Make

  • Step 1: Heat oven to 350 degrees F.

  • Step 2: Brown meat with onions and bell pepper in large skillet with 1 tablespoon oil until meat is browned

  • Step 3: Stir in spaghetti sauce, 3/4 cup cooking creme and 1/2 cup mozzarella: Add salt and pepper. Cook and stir 2 to 3 min. or until mozzarella is melted.

  • Step 4: Mix in cooked pasta. Spoon into greased 2-quart casserole dish

  • Step 5: Top remaining cooking creme and mozzarella. Cover. Bake 20 min. or until heated through, uncovering after 15 minutes of baking.
