  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans chicken broth
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon chicken seasoning
  • 1 cup dry tortellini (or 8 oz. frozen)
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • Freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes, undrained (chopped into smaller pieces)
  • 1/2 (5 ounce) package, approximately fresh spinach, large stems removed
  • 1 cooked chicken breast, shredded
  • Grated parmesan cheese
  • Garlic croutons

How to Make

  • Step 1: In large pan combine chicken broth, water, garlic, and chicken seasoning. Bring to a boil, add tortellini and cook according to package directions.

  • Step 2: Stir in stewed tomatoes, cooked chicken, spinach, celery salt, basil, and pepper to taste. Continue simmering for 10 minutes or until spinach is cooked.

  • Step 3: Serve topped with parmesan cheese and croutons.
