Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 4 chicken breast (skinless boneless chicken breasts, pound to about halfway thick)
  • 1 tablespoon salt substitute
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground mustard
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground dried thyme
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 egg (beaten)
  • Vegetable oil, for skillet browning

How to Make

  • Step 1: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In shallow bowl, mix all dry ingredients together (salt substitute and next 9 ingredients).

  • Step 2: Heat large skillet with vegetable oil. Dip each chicen piece in egg then into spice mixture; coat well. Set coated chicken on a rack and allow to sit for 10 minutes.

  • Step 3: Add to the skillet and brown about 3 minutes per side or until lightly browned. Remove to paper toweling to drain oil.

  • Step 4: Place on baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes.
