Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup of milk
  • 2 chicken breast halves, cut each into 4 strips
  • 1 1/2 cups cornbread stuffing mix,you might need just a little more
  • 1 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Vegetable oil for frying

How to Make

  • Step 1: In a shallow dish add egg and milk,beating well.

  • Step 2: Add chicken strips to egg/milk mixture,evenly coating each piece.

  • Step 3: Place stuffing mix,pepper flakes and garlic powder in a large plastic zippered bag, making sure all ingredients are mixed well.

  • Step 4: Add chicken strips a few at a time to coating mixture,making sure to let excess egg/milk mixtute to drip off before coating.

  • Step 5: After coating all pieces, place on a plate to "air dry" the chicken for about 10 minutes so the coating mix will stick better.

  • Step 6: Heat oil in skillet over medium heat, until hot but not smoking.

  • Step 7: Add chicken a few pieces at a time, fry until golden brown on both sides,about 8 to 10 minutes.
