Step 1: Cook pasta according to package directions and set aside.
Step 2: Over medium heat, in a medium size saucepan melt margarine and add onions.
Step 3: Cook onions until softened.
Step 4: Add flour and cook until lightly browned.
Step 5: Turn heat to low and add milk a little at a time, stir until desired thickness is reached. ( You might need a little more milk, it all depends on how thick you want it. ).
Step 6: Remove sauce from heat and add 4 1/2 ounces of cheese, a little at a time or it might turn out " STRINGY ".
Step 7: Add seasonings to sauce and mix well.
Step 8: Add cooked pasta to seasoned sauce and stir until pasta is well coated.
Step 9: Pour pasta/sauce into an 11 x 7 inch pan that has been prepared with cooking spray.
Step 10: Sprinkle with remaining cheese, and sprinkle additional paprika if desired.
Step 11: Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes or until top is golden brown.
