Step 1: In a saucepan heat butter over medium-high heat. Add in the onion and garlic powder; cook for 2-3 minutes or until onion is soft. Toss in the rice and cook stirring constantly for 3 minutes or until glistening.
Step 2: Carefully and slowly add the broth, tumeric, saffron and parsley, salt and pepper; bring to a simmer stirring. Reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for about 18-20 minutes or until rice is tender. Fluff with a fork before serving
