Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 (6 ounce) chicken flavor stuffing mix
  • 1 (16 ounce) bag frozen chopped broccoli
  • 1 pound cooked chicken, any kind you want
  • 1 (12 ounce) package American process cheese slices
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup - mixed with milk just to thin a little
  • 1 (3 ounce) can French fried onions
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make

  • Step 1: Grease a 3 quart baking dish. Prepare stuffing according to manufacturer's directions.

  • Step 2: Cut a corner off bag of broccoli. Place the whole bag on microwave safe plate. Microwave on full power 4 minutes. Drain off water.

  • Step 3: In the baking dish layer as follows: stuffing (on bottom) spread to cover bottom, next broccoli in an even layer; Arrange 1/2 the American cheese food slices in a single layer to cover broccoli, then cooked chicken in a single layer on top of cheese, then remaining half of the cheese slices over chicken.

  • Step 4: Thin soup with enough milk to make it spreadable. Spread over top of cheese. the top with shredded cheddar cheese.

  • Step 5: Bake at 350 degrees 30 minutes or until bubbly. Sprinkle french fried onions evenly on top of casserole. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Watch carefully that onions brown, but don't burn.
