Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 6 cups water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces egg noodles (whole wheat egg noodles uncooked)
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup (reduced fat)
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can New England clam chowder
  • 1 1/2 cups nonfat milk
  • 1 teaspoon hot pepper sauce (Tabasco)
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 (8 ounce) package crabmeat (imitation crabmeat, thawed and squeezed dry)
  • 8 ounces broccoli (frozen thawed)
  • 1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese (shredded divided reduced fat)

How to Make

  • Step 1: Bring water and salt to a boil in a large pot; add pasta and cook until tender, about 15 minutes.

  • Step 2: Meanwhile, in a separate pan, combine soups, milk, Tabasco, onion powder, garlic powder, and white pepper.

  • Step 3: Heat soup mixture over medium heat, stirring occasionally, for 10 minutes.

  • Step 4: Rough chop crab meat and broccoli (if necessary)and add to sauce mixture; cook another 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Step 5: When pasta is done, drain and return to pan.

  • Step 6: Pour sauce over pasta and stir to mix well; stir in 1 cup cheese and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until cheese melts.

  • Step 7: Top each serving with additional shredded cheese and serve.
