Ingredients

The ingredients are:
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 large yellow onion (chopped)
  • 1/2 bell pepper (chopped)
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 can (10 1/2 ounce) cream of chicken soup, undiluted
  • 1 can (10 1/2) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 2 cups cooked rice
  • 1 can (15 ounces) peas, drained (or frozen peas and carrots like the picture)
  • 1/4 cup water
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chow mein noodles, to garnish

How to Make

  • Step 1: Brown the ground beef with onion, celery and bell pepper till veggies are soft and ground beef is no longer pink. Drain off grease.

  • Step 2: Mix all ingredients together in a casserole dish and salt and pepper to taste. Cover Dish and Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes.

  • Step 3: Take dish out and uncover and cover the top with chow mein noodles. Cook for an additional 10-15 minutes.
